We live for ourselves or for society ?

The way we act,we eat,we dress depends a lot on the people around us.....so i always had a doubt are we doing all this to present ourselves in a good way to ppl around us or are we trying to get attention of people around us ???

To start off with a simple example when a plate of biryani is placed on your table at a restaurant wats da best way to eat it ? hand or with the cutlery they provide ?answer should be obviously hand but still we still pick up the cutlery they provide and eat. why?? Is it because our hands will get dirty ? Or is it because we want to present ourselves in a good way to the society ? Or  is it because people around should not think you as uncivilized ?

People say the best way to live is to do things which please you but we restrict ourselves while doing many things only to please the people around us and we ending up being unsatisfied. How many people say no to this ?

So now what should i do ? Should i do things which please me ? or should i do things which please people around me ? I think the best way is to do thinngs which please us until it hurts peoples feelings or people it self :P

Money earned to be saved or spent ?

Every last working day of month when i get my salary credited to the bank the only thought which comes to my mind.....how should i spend it ???? no no .....how should i save it????....no no .....how much i should spend ???? ....no no how much i should save ??? .

Then starts the month
1)sir,rent to be paid
2)sir,electricity bill to be paid
3)cook,maid,netbill,groceries etc etc
4)Sir,Car loan.

Now that i have cleared all my bills it is time for saving. Then comes a friend,dude lets have a party,lets booze and yeah this is the toughest part to resist So you obviuosly end up spending not less than thousand bucks.Do not forget it is tough to resist the whole month with single party.So the parties keep happening and each time thousand bucks keep vanishing.In addition to these fuel,bus trips etc etc keep happening and the money still keeps vanishing.

Now when the last week of month is left we suddenly realize we have to save something and look at the bankbalance only to find balance -> 0  . Somehow the week passes and the last working day of month arrives and the salary is again credited..

Again the month ends with the thought....'Should i save or should i spend ? ' Funny life but reality.
